Michael E. Tucker, Sr., 67, of Morgantown, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Michael was born Dec. 13, 1951 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Elvie and Wrinda Beasley Tucker. He was a member of Antioch Church of Christ, American Angus Association, Master Beef Association and retired fire inspector in Fort Knox and farmer. Michael loved the farm and farming. Other than his parents his is preceded in death by his first wife, Peggy Pharris Tucker.

Michael E. Tucker, Sr. is survived by his wife, JoAnne Tucker, of Morgantown, Kentucky; two daughters, Kellee and Leah Tucker, of Morgantown, Kentucky; three sons, Michael E. Tucker, Jr. and wife Crystal, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Joshua L. Tucker, of Rochester, Kentucky, and Chris Belcher and fiancée Nikki White, of Millwood, Kentucky; grandchildren, Littia, Keegan Rose and Madaline Tucker, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Brennon Tucker and wife Dakota, of Washington, D.C., Nora and Luke Tucker, of Caneyville, Kentucky, Levi Tucker, of Park City, Kentucky, Ella Deweese, of Morgantown, Kentucky, Brentley Belcher, of Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and future grandchild coming in March; great-grandchildren, Arrow, Oliver and Oakley Tucker, of Washington, D.C.; brother, Dennis Tucker, and wife Regena, of Morgantown, Kentucky; sister, Sharon Nabours, of Morgantown, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were held at the Jones Funeral Chapel Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019 at 2 p.m. with Bro. Steve Slaughter officiating. Burial was held in the Neafus Cemetery. Visitation was held on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2019 from 11 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. until funeral time at 2 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Chapel.
