The Grayson County Cougars hosted the Edmonson County Wildcats Friday night for the 2019 Tobacco Bowl, where the only empty seats were from those who had moved to the sidelines to rally around the Cougars.

At 9:11 in the first quarter, Edmonson’s Chance Lucas achieved a 33-yard run touchdown. The PAT was no good. Then, Grayson’s Hunter Gibson made a 28-yard run, leaving the Cougars at the 5-yard line. The first quarter ended at 6-0.

At 10:30 in the second quarter, Gibson made a one-yard run for the Cougars' first touchdown. This was followed by another touchdown from Gibson with a 48-yard run at 6:34. Both PATs were good, ending the second quarter at 14-6.

The third quarter saw a 21-yard field goal by Logan Raymer at 6:54. At 3:57, Gibson made a two-yard run for his third touchdown of the night. The third quarter ended at 24-6.

At 5:02 in the fourth quarter, Grayson’s Jacob Kerr made a one-yard run touchdown. A 70-yard receiving touchdown by Edmonson’s Isaiah Johnson was then followed by another touchdown for the Wildcats, which brought the final score to 31-18.
