Last Tuesday night, the Bullitt East Chargers visited the Cougar Den and left with a 15-point win over the Cougars.

The loss marks a seven-game losing streak for the Cougars, as they were unable to keep up with the Chargers.

The first quarter of play saw a brief tie of 5-5 with two free throws from Hunter Tomes. But a six-point run from the Chargers pulled the game out of reach.

The Cougars trailed for the reminder of the game, only coming within in one possession once in the second quarter.

With Nolan Shartzer absent from the game with an injured ankle, sophomore Chandler McCrady stepped up with 12 points, followed by sophomore Hunter Tomes with 10 points and sophomore Keegan Sharp with eight points.

Final score: 59-44.
