Dr. Bryce Meredith celebrated his new practice in Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center with a ribbon cutting and open house.

Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center welcomed Dr. Bryce Meredith to its staff this week.

Meredith is a 2005 Grayson County High School graduate, who received his undergraduate degree at Centre College, before continuing his education at the University of Kentucky and the University of Pikeville. He celebrated opening his Leitchfield practice on Tuesday afternoon with a grand opening and ribbon cutting with the Grayson County Chamber of Commerce.

"I'm really excited to be home and blessed to take care of my hometown," he said. "I look forward to caring for people in the area."

According to his father, Senator Steve Meredith, Bryce Meredith dreamed of coming home to work when he decided to be a doctor.

"I'm really excited to see what he does for the hospital and the community," he said.

Bryce Meredith provides family medicine and sports medicine services and specializes in concussion prevention and treatment. He is also offering a free Saturday morning walk-in clinic for middle and high school athletes and "weekend warriors" from Aug. 11 to Nov. 17.

His office is located inside Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center near Midway Pharmacy and will officially open this Monday, though he has already begun treating people there. He is currently accepting new patients. For more information, call the office at 270-200-4510.

A full explanation of Dr. Meredith's concussion screenings will be printed in the Fall Sports section of the Wednesday, Aug. 29 edition of the Grayson County News-Gazette.
