Last Friday, Dr. Kenneth Green celebrated his retirement from Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center after serving the community for over 30 years.

Green said that he owes his success to God, his wife and his family.

"I'm blessed to have come back to this community to be a part of the community and contribute to their health," he said. "There's a great group of folks in Grayson County who are very hospitable to assisting provisions of their care."

Jean Ann Mattingly, a former patient of Green, said she had been with him for 35 years and worked with him at Grayson Manor before that, saying he was always good to the residents, appreciative of the staff and helpful to the home itself.

"He always had time for everyone. He had time to listen to you and your problems," she said.

According to Mattingly, Green would even pray with you when you needed him to.

Patients of Green were informed of his retirement early in an effort to help them find other providers; however, if patients needs help finding a new provider, making records requests or transferring records, they should call (270) 230-0182.
