Bercie Rita Wise was born in New Iberia, LA. The daughter of the late Harry and Augustine Aucoin Theriot; and was married to the late Arvel Edward Wise.
She was a Housewife and member of Clarkson Baptist Church.
Bercie leaves behind five daughters: Rita Goodwin, Stacy Smith, Mary Crawford, Sue Nugent and Vicki Mason; four sons: Arvel Wise, Jr., Jerry Dee Wise, Terry Lee Wise and David Wise; three sisters: Edna Derouen, Eve Trahan & Edna Moore; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and one brother.
Visitation for Bercie Wise will be Thursday, March 14 from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. and Friday after 9 a.m. at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Friday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at Rogers-Oller Funeral Home with Bro. John Whittaker officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Zion Church Cemetery, Vince Grove, KY, with a graveside service at the cemetery at 1:30 p.m.
