Joyce Faye Mckinney Settles, 65,of Elizabethtown, passed away Tuesday February 19, 2013 at her residence.

Mrs. Settles was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Rita (Higdon) Drake; a son, Daniel W. McKinney; a grandson, James Lee McKinney; and a sister, Susie Williams.

Joyce is survived by her husband, James Settles, of Elizabethtown; a son, Larry McKinney, Jr., of Elizabethtown; three daughters, Brenda Meredith and her husband Craig Gault, of Elizabethtown, Judy Thompson, of Elizabethtown, Carrie McKinney, of Elizabethtown; three brothers, Ray Drake, of Hawaii, Larry Drake, of Louisville, Joe Drake, of Louisville; five grandchildren, Brian McKinney, Ashley McKinney, Daniel McKinney, Jr., Justin McKinney, and Gage McKinney; and one great-grandchild, Brandon Price.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown with Rev. Phillip Drake officiating. Burial will be at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM or Saturday from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Manakee Funeral Home in Elizabethtown.
