Thomas L. Embry, age 87 of Leitchfield passed away Monday, December 10, 2012 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center in Leitchfield.

He was born June 13, 1925 in Leitchfield, the son of Clyde T. and Kathleene Haynes Embry.

He is survived by his children, Betty Logsdon (Norman), Tommy Wayne Embry (Mary), Kathy Williams (Doug), Byron L. Embry, all of Leitchfield, and Donna Irani (Darius), of Milford, Massachusetts; nine grandchildren, Marsha Wagoner (Andy), Stephanie Carroll, Jennifer Logsdon, Mason and Caleb Embry, Megan Troughton (Jeremy), Angela Schroader, Kim Gibson (J.T.) and Brent Williams (Amy); nine great-grandchildren, Hannah and Clay Wagoner, Jacob and Blake Carroll, Jordan Schroader (Chrystal), Hallie and Noah Gibson, Zac and Jaxen Williams, and one great-great-grandchild, Emma Schroader.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clyde T. and Kathleene Haynes Embry, and his wife, Nellie L. Meda Johnson Embry.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2012, at Clarkson Church of Christ in Clarkson. Burial will be at Leitchfield Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held after 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel and from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.
