Doris J Richards, age 73, of Leitchfield, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012, at the Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

She was born on February 25, 1939 in Louisville, the daughter of the late Carl Steven and Mary Lucille Perkins Still.

She was a housewife, who enjoyed singing and sewing. She was a member of the Beech Grove United Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charles E Richards; three daughters, Debra Lucille Williams (Cecil), of Millwood, Beulah Charlene Comer (Doug), of Shepherdsville, and Patricia Carol Ramsey (Mike), of Leitchfield:; four sons, Charles Edward Richards Jr. (Carolyn), of Mt. Sherman, KY, Thomas Rae Richards (Dean), of Caneyville, Michael Lee Richards (Renee), of Louisville, and William Steven Richards (Tina), of Leitchfield; one brother, Roy Steven Still, of Rome, GA and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Darlene Richards, and two brothers, Everett and Billy Still.

Funeral services were held Monday, November 26, 2012, at Claggett United Baptist Church in Leitchfield. Burial was in the Sanders Cemetery.
