Sherman Ray Clements, age 66, of Leitchfield, passed away Thursday, November 15, 2012, at the Norton’s Hospital, in Louisville, Kentucky.

He was born on October 15, 1946, in Shrewsbury, the son of Howard Ray and Alene Albro Clements.

He was a carpenter, who enjoyed fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Odle Clements; his mother, Alene Clements, of Shrewsbury; three brothers, Don (Sue) Clements, of Henderson NV, Phillip (Ora), and David Clements (Liz), both of Shrewsbury; five sisters, Agnes Day (Glen) and Rosie Whobrey (Harold), both of Shrewsbury, Alta Woosley (KO), of Tousey, KY, Judy Clark (Charlie), of Navarre, FL and Wanda Beatty (Mike) of Caneyville; an aunt, Irene Albro, of Shrewsbury and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Ray Clements.

Funeral services were held Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield, with Bro Chester Shartzer officiating. Burial was in the Layman Memorial Cemetery.
