She is survived by one son, Royce Powell (Brenda); two daughters, Barbara Clemons (Coy) of Louisville, and Alma Dale Bertram (Kenneth) of Clarkson; two daughters-in law, Joy and JoaAnn Powell; eighteen grandchildren, thirty-three great-grandchildren, and twenty-four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Ewell Powell and Clevie Clemons; three sons, Carlos, Hershell and Delmer Powell; six brothers, Lawrence, Willis, Earl, Oval, Raymond and Alfred Stanton; seven sisters, Ora Stanton, Docia Dennis, Bertha Mae Gibson, Estelle Clemons, Thelma Hayes, Flora Bell Stanton and Emma Stanton; one granddaughter, one great-grandson and one great-great-grandson.
Funeral services were held Monday, June 28, 2010 at the Broadford Baptist Church in Clarkson with Bro. Abb Stanton and Michael Clemons officiating. Burial was in the Stanton Cemetery.
