Garland Dennis, age 66 of Hudson, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 with many family and friends by his side. He was born in Hardin County, Kentucky the son of Harold Edward Dennis and Oneda Maude Phelps Dennis.
Garland is survived by his wife, Linda Tuncil-Dennis of Hudson, two sons, Michael Garland Dennis (DeAnna) & Aaron Mark Dennis (Tricia) all of Hudson, his mother Oneda Maude Phelps-Dennis of Holly, one brother, William C. Dennis (Cheryl) of Hardin Springs, one sister, Sherry L. Dennis (Randy) of Holly, three grandchildren, Michael Wesley Dennis, Mallory Bonetta Dennis & Olivia Leigh Ann Dennis, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father Harold Edward Dennis.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday (March 16, 2013) at the Mt. Hebron Gospel Mission Church with Bro. Jimmy Douthitt officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. on Friday at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Home in Leitchfield and from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to the Hosparus of Central Kentucky.
