A Grayson County man was recently arrested for 20 counts of distribution of matter portraying sexual performance of a minor.
Kentucky State Police searched the home of 48-year-old Michael E. Alcorn on Wednesday, January 30, after receiving a tip from the Knox County, Tennessee Sheriff’s Office, according to a news release from Master Trooper Norman Chaffins.
Chaffins noted that the execution of the search warrant turned up illicit images of children, and investigators were able to identify Alcorn as the Knox County suspect.
Alcorn, whose residence is located on Orchard Street in Leitchfield, was arrested by KSP Trooper Terry Whittaker, and is currently lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center. He is being held on $25,000 cash bond.
