Three members of a Clarkson family were arrested after officers discovered a drug operation in their home on Monday, August 13.
According to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, a search was conducted at 11 Pine Haven Road in the Broadford area at around 5:30 p.m. The home belonged to Ronnie Miller, 50, and his ex-wife, Minnie Mae Miller, 44. Their 22-year-old son, Danny Miller was also at the residence when deputies arrived.
Deputy Buck Meredith, with the GCSD, headed the four-hour long search, during which the Millers were cooperative.
A number of illegal items were discovered inside the home, including methamphetamine and other items used for its manufacture; drug paraphernalia; and more than 1,000 needles, many of which had been used. There were also firearms in the home and a police scanner had been wired to a surround sound system, which was then run throughout the home.
Ronnie, Minnie and Danny Miller were each arrested and charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, and trafficking in a controlled substance. Additionally, Ronnie Miller was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The three were lodged in the Grayson County Detention Center.
