Home delivery of the Wednesday, Aug. 22, edition of the Grayson County News-Gazette has been delayed due to a van-deer collision.

The driver bringing the newspapers to Leitchfield from the printing plant hit a deer Tuesday night. The resulting delay meant the newspapers didn’t arrive at the county’s post offices until after the deadline for them to have gone out with Wednesday’s mail.

They should arrive at most customers’ homes and businesses Thursday morning.

Newspapers are available at area stores and the News-Gazette office.
