13 individuals were indicted in Grayson Circuit Court last month following eleven incidents occurring between November 2011 and April of 2012.

Gregory Bailey, 21, of Limp Road, in Big Clifty, was indicted on five separate charges, including fleeing or evading police in the first degree, wanton endangerment in the first degree, reckless driving, disregarding signals from officers directing traffic, and being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Bailey’s charges stem from an incident purported to have occurred on April 9, 2012. He is being charged with having attempted to flee from police in a motor vehicle and “creating a substantial danger of death or serious physical injury to other motorists,” in the process. He is accused of driving in a reckless manner and knowingly disregarding the signal to stop interfering or endangering the operation of the police, from Deputy Billy Meredith, of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department.

The Commonwealth recommended that Bailey’s bond be set at $10,000 cash and that he abide by a curfew.

Rebekah L. Skaggs, 24, of West Main Street, in Leitchfield, was indicted on six counts of forgery of a prescription. It is alleged, according to the indictments, that Skaggs “falsely made or completed a written instrument which purported to be a prescription for a controlled substance, Hydrocodone.”

This is purported to have occurred six times between November 3, 2011 and April 23, 2012.

It was recommended that Skaggs be held on a $5000 cash bond and be required to abide by a curfew.

Ollie Preston, 56, and Michelle Preston, 49, both of Fields Lane in Clarkson, were each indicted on charges of cultivation of marijuana, five or more plants; and possession of marijuana.

The Prestons’ charges stem from an incident alleged to have occurred on April 5, when they were found with five or more marijuana plants in their possession for the purpose of selling or transferring them.

The Commonwealth recommended each of their bonds be set at $5,000 cash and that they abide by a curfew.

Jacob Hodges, 22, of Peonia Road in Clarkson, was indicted on one charge of receiving stolen property valued at under $10,000.

Hodges is purported to have received or retained a 1993 Ford Explorer which had been stolen from Tammy Hoben at some point between March 21, 2012 and April 2, 2012.

For Hodges’ offense, the Commonwealth recommended a $2,500 cash bond and a curfew.

Kimberly S. Horton, 22, of Whitten Road in Big Clifty, was indicted on one charge of receiving stolen property valued at under $10,000. Horton’s indictment comes after an incident alleged to have occurred on or about May 19, 2012 in which Horton retained a battery charger on wheels, a tackle box, fishing poles, and a socket set which had been stolen from Bruce Logsdon.

Horton’s bail was recommended to be set at $2,500 cash and it was recommended, additionally, that she abide by a curfew.

A co-defendant in Horton’s case is 21-year-old Robert T. Hoben, of Brandenburg Road, in Leitchfield, who was also charged for retaining the property stolen from Logsdon. Additionally, Horton is being charged with being a persistent felony offender in the second degree.

Hoben’s bond was recommended at $2,500 cash and it was recommended that he abide by a curfew as well.

Whitney L. White, 26, of Shrewsbury Road in Leitchfield, was indicted on one charge of wanton endangerment in the first degree and one charge of leaving the scene of an accident/failure to render aid or assistance.

White’s charges stem from an incident which purportedly happened on or about April 29, 2012 in which she engaged in conduct which created a “substantial danger of death or serious injury to Amber Ford,” according to the indictment.

White also is alleged to have failed to stop and determine the extent of any injuries or damages after being involved in a motor vehicle accident on that same date.

The Commonwealth recommended a $5,000 cash bond for White and requested a curfew as well.

Michael B. Mullins, 20, of West Chestnut Street, in Leitchfield, was indicted on charges of possession of a controlled substance in the first degree, possession of a controlled substance in the third degree, and violation of a protective order.

Each of Mullins’ charges result from incidents on April 28, 2012, when Mullins is alleged to have been found with both morphine and Alprazolam in his possession. He is also alleged to have been in violation of an emergency protective order issued in March of this year, which states that he is to have no contact or communication with Billie Jo Horn.

It was recommended that Mullins be held on a $5,000 cash bond and be required to abide by a curfew.

Thomas Pablo, of North Patterson Street, in Clarkson, was indicted on two counts of providing incomplete firearms training. The indictment follows an two incidents alleged to have occurred on or about march 24, 2012.

The Commonwealth recommended a surety bond for Pablo.

Sara Dearborn, 28, of South Clinton Street, was indicted for flagrant non-support. It is alleged that Dearborn has persistently failed to provide child support for two minor children, aged eight and six. It is alleged in the indictment that Dearborn owed $5,800 in back child support as of April 30, 2012.

Dearborn’s bond was recommended at $10,000, 60 percent of which must be cash and is non-refundable up to the amount owed in child support arrearage. Dearborn is also obliged to pay current child support as required.

Christopher Snyder, 39, of Blessitt Road, in Clarkson, was indicted on a charge of flagrant non-support. It is alleged that Snyder persistently failed to provide child support for one minor child, aged 17. The indictment alleges that Snyder owed $3,320 in back child support as of April 30, 2012.

Snyder’s recommended bond was $10,000, 30 percent of which had to be cash, and was non-refundable up to the amount he owed in child support arrearage. Snyder is also obliged to pay current child support as required.

Shauna B. Clouse, 25, of Vanmeter Lane in Leitchfield, was indicted on one charge of flagrant non-support. IT is alleged that Clouse persistently failed to provide child support for two minor children, aged seven and five. The indictment alleges that Clouse owed $5,733.16 in back child support as of February 29, 2012.

Clouse’s recommended bond was $10,000, 60 percent of which had to be cash, and was non-refundable up to the amount owed in child support arrearage. Clouse is also obliged to pay current child support as required.
