Yuleen Sweets, 85, of Bowling Green, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at the Colonial Manor Care & Rehabilitation, in Bowling Green.
She was born on November 27, 1926 in Daviess County, the daughter of Cuba and Nova Huff. She was a machine operator for 30 years at Kane Industries.
She is survived by two sons, Garry W. Sweets (Karen), and Richard D. Sweets (Alice), both of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Darrel, Jeremy, Darleen and Toby; eight great-grandchildren, Anna, Jordan, Reagan, Christopher, Naomi, Lily, Isaiah, and Alexander; three brothers, Kenneth, James and Donavon, all of Louisville; five sisters, Corene Geary, Ramona Hurt, and Alline Stevenson, all of Louisville, Delilah Reynolds, of Jacksonville, FL, and Morene Jekel, of New Salisbury, IN.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John R. Sweets and her brother Judson Huff.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, 2012, at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Steve Monts and Bro Scott Farrington will be officiating. Burial will be in the Layman Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Dermitt-Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. Friday until time of service.
