By 10 a.m. Wednesday, they’d made it official: the signs at Goff Drive and Brandenburg Road were being changed and the new flag was flying over the former Trim Masters building.

New York Blower Co. officially announced Wednesday morning that it will build a manufacturing plant in Leitchfield, potentially employing 125 people. Company officials and Gov. Steve Beshear were on hand for the announcement.

Read more about the announcement — including when the first workers may be hired — in Saturday’s News-Gazette.
