A large variety of businesses from across the county will be showcasing their goods and services and giving away some great door prizes on Thursday, April 19 at the Centre on Main at the GC Community Spotlight.
The event, which is being organized by the local Business Networking International group, a “word-of-mouth marketing group” with the goal of generating interest in community small businesses, is the first of it’s kind in the area, and is free to attend.
Beginning at 4 p.m. and running until 7 p.m., at least 35 local businesses will have exhibits and visitors can peruse the offerings and purchase goods such as candles and hairbows or consider some great services from floral design to extermination. The businesses are many and varied, and are happy to share some information with you.
Each exhibiting business will also be presenting a great door prize for those interested in signing up. Items such as jewelry, wreaths, a bed and breakfast package, t-shirts and a canoe rental, just to name a few, will be given away every five minutes during the evening.
While entrants must be present to win the individual booth prizes, there will also be a grand prize of a flatscreen t.v. given away, for which they need not be present.
Anyone with questions concerning the event can feel free to contact April Bowman at Wilson & Muir Bank and Trust Co. at 270-259-4001 for further information.
