She was born in Roff, Ky. on July 26, 1925, the daughter of Raymond and Nettie Poole Critchelow. She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Carwile; two brothers, Leo and Hobart Critchelow.
She is survived by five sons, Russell (Jean) Carwile of Caneyville, Ky., Rudy (Lois) Carwile of Westview, Ky., Gary (Patty) Carwile of Hardinsburg, Ky., Ralph (Linda) Carwile of Westview, Ky., and Warren (Wanda P) Carwile of McDaniels; 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 25, 2006 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Fr. Tom Buckman officiating.
Burial was in the St. Anthony Cemetery.
Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg was in charge of the arrangements.
Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to St. Romuald School or St. Anthony Cemetery.
