She was born on March 22, 1920 in Hudson, Ky., the daughter of Joseph and Maude Mae Miller Fentress. She was a housewife and was a 50-year member of the Coyles Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Buckler; two brothers, Vernell and Louie Fentress; one sister, Magdalene Wilkerson; and one half- sister, Rena Armstrong.
She is survived by one brother, Roy Fentress of Leitchfield; 13 nephews and three nieces.
Funeral services were held Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Dermitt Funeral Home in Leitchfield with Bro. Gerald Elliott officiating.
Burial was in the Mt. Vernon Cemetery.
