He was born on June 21,1952, the son of V.J. and Ava (Carter) Embry. He was a member of the Wilson Home Baptist Church, an avid bowler with the Silver Bullets, and held an honorable discharge from the National Guard after serving 6 years.
He is survived by Debbie Embry, four sons, Corey Embry, of Bowling Green, Todd McCombs, of Morgantown, T.J. Embry and Micah Embry both of Bowling Green; his father V.J. Embry of Caneyville; three grandchildren, Landon, Colton and Elizabeth Embry. He was preceded in death by his mother Ava.
Funeral services were held at the Wilson Home Baptist Church Monday, November 15, 2010, with interment in the Wilson Home Cemetery. Bro. Dewey Baker officiated.
