Local athletes place 3rd at Summit

Senior Team Vengeance of the BA Twin Lakes All-Star Cheerleaders competed in the finals of the 2017 Summit All Star Cheerleading Championship invitational at Walt Disney World Resort on Sunday, May 7, 2017 and will be bringing home to Clarkson a 3rd place win.

The Summit is by invitation only, with 303 programs, six countries, 957 teams, and 43 states represented. With dedication, hard work, perseverance, from the coaches to the athletes, staff, parents, family and friends, this group of athletes turned a dream into a reality.

Team Vengeance competed Friday, May 5, facing 14 teams in the wildcard round and placing 2nd, scoring high enough to advance them straight to the finals on Sunday, May 7.

On Sunday, May 7, they faced nine teams in the final placing 3rd overall.

Junior Guardians also from BA Twin Lakes All-Star team qualified to perform at the Summit event.
