GCHS to offer Flag Football League

The Grayson County High School football program will be hosting a flag football league for students in the fifth, sixth and seventh grades.

The league will run for three consecutive Saturdays from 9-11:30 a.m. As of press time on Friday, the dates of the league had not been finalized.

The first 45 minutes of each day will consist of the players working at stations with GCHS coaches to develop the passing, catching and running skills associated with flag football. The remainder of the time will be spent dividing the players into teams and playing flag football games.

This will be a great way for young athletes to learn sportsmanship, interact with the coaching staff and players, and develop football-related skills in a non-contact environment.

The best part of the league is that the GCHS football staff has decided to offer it at zero cost! There is no registration fee or any other fees associated with the league, simply show up with the registration forms and let your kids have fun.

Registration forms can be picked up at the GCHS office.
