Meredith, 43, pleaded guilty to failure to wear seat belts and failure to produce an insurance card, which was amended to failure to maintain insurance. Meredith was sentenced to 30 days probation and was ordered to pay a $25 fine and $168 in court costs.Ellen L. Maples, 25, pleaded guilty to TICS, first degree (opiates), which was amended to third degree.

 

Aquatic Center play-structure built

Several Grayson County High School students will get an early taste of college life this summer during the Governor’s Scholars Program, a five-week, summer residential program for outstanding Kentucky high school students between their junior and senior years.Candidates for the Class of 2014 are Abby Gibson, Bethany Harting, Cameron Hicks, Jessica Hughes, Jessica Johnson, Alexis Schmidt, and Courtney Vincent. Hannah Ashley and Corbin Harris were selected as alternates.
