The City of Leitchfield, this week, officially declared the month of August to be Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Month in commemoration of the school’s 50th year of operation.During the regularly scheduled, Monday, Aug. 18 Leitchfield City Council meeting, Leitchfield ECTC Campus Director Darrin Powell and ECTC Representative Carolyn Thomason attended to accept the proclamation declaring August ECTC month from Leitchfield Mayor William Thomason.The Leitchfield ECTC campus is currently celebrating the start of its second academic year, which has seen a dramatic growth in enrollment.
