Theresa began her career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in September 2006 as a reporter covering local news and feature stories. She is best known around the community for weekly columns about life on the farm. After growing up in the Florida Keys she found life to be very different on a farm and sharing those stories with the community was part of the job she enjoyed. She transferred to the advertising department in the fall of 2011 as an advertising consultant. Prior to coming to the paper she sold real estate for a local agency. She has been a resident of Grayson County since the summer of 2004, coming from South Carolina. Theresa graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing in May of 2001. She enjoys all aspects of the newspaper and the role it plays in the local community.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Rocky LaPorte, followed family to Grayson County in February of 2015 and joined the News-Gazette the following month as an Advertising Sales Representative. After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the military, in which he served for just under four years. He was stationed in Fort Carson, CO, and from 2010-2011, he served in Iraq as a combat engineer. He has one daughter, Aubrey. A Grayson County native who was raised in Leitchfield, Tracey Collins joined The Grayson County News-Gazette in December as Customer Service Representative. Tracey has been married to her high school sweetheart, Billy, for 26 years and has two sons Blake, of Clarkson, and Grant, of Owensboro. Brittany Wise began reporting for The Grayson County News-Gazette in July 2011. In addition to covering a wide variety of news beats, she serves as our Newspapers In Education Coordinator, spending time in local classrooms throughout the school year.
Brittany is excited to be the sponsor of H. W. Wilkey Elementary School's new Journalism Club, which will give students a first-hand look at the news as it effects them.
Brittany is a Taylor County native who has enjoyed living in Grayson County for over a decade. She currently resides in Leitchfield with her daughter and two sons.
Matt Lasley joined the staff The Grayson County News-Gazette in February 2013 as a reporter. He is a life-long resident of Grayson County. After graduating from Grayson County High School in 2008, he attended Brescia University. In 2012, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in English: Emphasis in Professional Writing.
He currently resides in Leitchfield, KY.

Don Brown began his career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in 1994 covering feature stories and hard news. In following his passion, he eventually transitioned to the sports section. He tirelessly and enthusiastically covers local sports and ensures that the athletes in our area get the recognition they deserve.
