Brian Decker, 30, of Louisville, was recently indicted in Grayson County Circuit Court on charges of burglary in the second degree, receiving stolen property valued at less than $10,000, possession of the controlled substance Xanex in the third degree, possession of a controlled substance not in its original container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Decker’s charges stem from an incident that allegedly occurred on October 14, when he is accused of entering the residence of Kristy Willis with the intent to commit a crime.
Decker was also allegedly found to be in possession of jewelry and pocket knives valued at a total of less than $10,000, which were stolen from Jimmie Smith.
At the time, he is additionally accused of having been in possession of drug paraphernalia as well as the controlled substance Xanex, a prescription medication which was not in its original container as required by law.
Decker was recommended a $15,000 bond.
A co-defendant in Decker’s case, Tara Wallace, 30, of Louisville, was also indicted on charges of receiving stolen property valued at $10,000, possession of the controlled substance Xanex, possession of a controlled substance not in original container, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Wallace is accused of having committed these acts along with Decker, and the Commonwealth recommended her bond also be set at $15,000.
Others who were recently indicted include the following:
-Todd Jamason Berkley, 39, of Rockford, Illinois, was indicted on charges of possession of the controlled substance heroin in the first degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Berkley is accused of having had the drug and other paraphernalia in his possession on November 2 when he was arrested in Clarkson following an anonymous tip called in to Louisville Metro Police Department. LMPD had put out a bulletin with a photo of a serial bank-robber, and after having been arrested by the Grayson County Sheriff’s Department, Berkley admitted to have also committed the robberies.
Berkley’s bond was set by the Commonwealth at $10,000.
-Edward J. Sutton, Jr., 46, of Eastview, was indicted for possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine in the first degree, first offense.
Allegations are drawn that on or about October 29, Sutton had the drug in his possession.
His bond was set at $10,000.
-Brandon Kipper, 20, of Skees Road in Big Clifty, was indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; and possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine in the first degree.
Kipper is alleged to have manufactured the drug or had in his possession the chemicals and/or equipment for manufacturing meth with the intent to do so on October 29. He is also accused of having had the finished product methamphetamine in his possession at the time.
Kipper’s bond was set at 10,000.
-Domini Moffett, of Braton Road in Clarkson, was indicted on charges of manufacturing methamphetamine, first offense; possession of the controlled substance methamphetamine in the first degree; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The charges stem from an October 11 incident during which Moffett is alleged to have either manufactured the drug or had in her possession the chemicals and/or equipment to do so with the intent to manufacture. She is also accused of possessing the finished product, methamphetamine as well as other drug paraphernalia at the time.
Moffett was recommended a bond of $20,000.
-Stephen S. Pierce, 37, of Yeaman Road in Caneyville was indicted on charges of driving on a DUI-suspended license, third offense; speeding 18 miles per hour over the speed limit; and being a persistent felony offender in the first degree.
The allegations levied against Pierce state that on March 29 he was found to be operating a motor vehicle under the influence and with a suspended license for a previous DUI offense. He is also accused of having been clocked at 53 miles per hour in a 35 mile per hour zone.
Having been previously convicted of at least two felony offenses within the five years prior to this indictment or being on probation or parole at the time, he was additionally charged with being a persistent felony offender.
The Commonwealth recommended Pierce’s bond to be set at $50,000.
-Amanda Jenkins, 52, of Hawkins Drive in Clarkson, was indicted for two counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument in the second degree and fraudulent use of a credit card over $500.
The final allegation is the result of an alleged August 12 incident when Jenkins is accused of intentionally using a credit card belonging to Charles Hawkins to purchase merchandise with a value of over $500.
The first charge stems from a September 20 incident during which Jenkins is accused of having had in her possession two forged checks with a total amount of $550 drawn on the Bank of Clarkson from the account of Charles Hawkins. Court documents allege that she possessed these checks with the intent to defraud or deceive.
The Commonwealth recommended a $10,000 bond in this case.
