I am pursing the position of 2nd District Constable because I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to work for my community. I was born and raised in Caneyville to Dewayne and Joyce Parks. I am married to the former Mary Ann Shain and together we have three children—Jessica, Dustin, and Deanna. Because I have a family of my own in the Caneyville community, I understand the importance of quality protection and safety. I personally believe that Grayson County is a great place to live and start a family. People want to know that their community is protected and I would love to be a part in ensuring citizens that they are out of harm’s way.
Not only have I been the Assistant Manager of Otis Bryant & Son for fifteen years, I am currently employed as the Manager of Caneyville Milling and am also working on my associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, which is greatly beneficial to the position I wish to be elected to.
If elected, I will assist the Sheriff’s Department and Caneyville Police in any way I can and understand that the highest level of communication with these agencies is essential to protect each and every citizen in the community.
One thing I would like voters to know about me is that I am not in this race for Politics; I am in it for the benefit of the people in the second district. The people deserve an honest, hard-working constable.
