Roselean “Rosie” Whobrey, age 68, of Leitchfield, departed this life on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center, in Leitchfield.

She was born April 24, 1944, the daughter of the late William Howard and Ersley Marie McStoots King. She was married to the late Garland Whobrey. Rosie was a housewife and worked at Campbell Hausfeld in Leitchfield.

She is survived by her son, Michael H. Whobrey and his wife, Diane, and one grandson, Jacob Whobrey.

Other survivors are 10 sisters, Loretta (John) Stone, Dottie (Herman) Cottrell, Natella (Rick) Williams, Suzie Mercer, Elaine (Everett) Decker, Rena Mae Whobrey, Joyce Richards, Alice Grimes, Evelyn (Raul) Cook and Geralean Smith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Simon and Elbie D. King, and one sister, Wanda McStoots.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2012, at the Watkins-Oller Funeral Home, with Bro. Charlie Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery, in Edmonson County.

Friends may call at Watkins-Oller Funeral Home from 10-8 p.m. on Friday and after 9 a.m. on Saturday.
