Robert Brod, age 89, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at his residence in Caneyville.
He was born September 16, 1923, the son of the late Arthur Brod and Irene Nolot Brod. He had been a storekeeper with several stores in Southern Indidana. He was also a Marine who had served in World War II.
He is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Glenna Tucker Brod, of Caneyville. Also surviving is his son, Donald G. Brod, of Smiths Grove, KY; his daughters, Donna K. White, of Leitchfield, and Linda Sue Smith, of Louisville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Wednesday, January 30, 2013 on the Brod family farm in Caneyville.
