To the Editor:

On behalf of the Salvation Army board members, I would like to say “thank you” to each and every person that helped this holiday season. How do you thank the numerous people that gave of their time and their money to provide for those less fortunate?

Thanks to the many that stood in the cold and rang the bell at Wal-Mart.

Thanks to those that donated the dollars that were placed in the kettles.

Thanks to those that shopped for the near 700 area children.

Thanks to the churches, organizations, businesses and individuals that contributed to each of the above-mentioned programs.

“Thank you” just does not seem to be enough, but my wish is that each of you knows just how important your contributions are to our programs year in and year our. Your generosity of time and dollars not only is used during the holiday season, but throughout the year to help those in need.

Again, thank you for all you do to support our programs.

Sincerely,

Tracy Dennison

Coordinator, Salvation Army bell ringing and Angel Tree programs
