Grayson County’s first baby of 2013 won’t share her birthday with the New Year’s holiday.
Addison Mae White was born at 8:13 a.m. on Jan. 3, becoming the first baby of the new year to be born at Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center.
Addison, who weighed 8 pounds, 1.3 ounces and was 20 inches long at birth, is the daughter of Dorthie and Robert White Jr. of Leitchfield.
She’ll join big brothers Tyler Matthews and Robert White III, and big sister Grace, at home.
As the first baby of 2013, she and Mrs. White will receive a gift basket from the hospital and several area merchants, including the hospital’s gift shop, The Karat Kase, Leitchfield Deposit Bank, Raye’s Flowers, Carlita Mattingly, Leitchfield Pediatric Clinic, The Sew Bee It Quilt Guild, Linda’s Hair Studio and The Cecilian Bank.
