Angela C. Houchin, age 54 of Leitchfield passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at the Norton Hospital in Louisville.
She was born January 6, 2012 in Louisville, the daughter of Kenneth J. and Norma Ann Maier Recktenwald.
She is survived by her husband, David Houchin of Leitchfield; one daughter, Debra Houchin, of Leitchfield; one granddaughter, Calib Houchin Miller, of Leitchfield; two brothers, Michael Recktenwald (Meredith), of Oklahoma, and Kenny Recktenwald (Sallie), of Louisville; three sisters, Kimberly Carrico (Jim), Marti McGraw (Greg), and Jackie Hazelrig (Jason), all of Louisville; her lifelong friend, Kathy Dister Ratliff. of Louisville, 17 nieces, and 22 nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Norma Ann Maier Recktenwald, one daughter, Sarah Houchin, and a grandchild.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 3, 2012, at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial was in the Anneta Cemetery.
