Don Brown began his career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in 1994 covering feature stories and hard news. In following his passion, he eventually transitioned to the sports section. He tirelessly and enthusiastically covers local sports and ensures that the athletes in our area get the recognition they so deserve. Brown is a California native but came to Grayson County nearly two decades ago. In addition to his sports coverage Brown is responsible for the What’s Happening page and the obituary section of the newspaper. She has been a resident of Grayson County for the past eight years, and has been a news contributor in the community for five of those years. Rebecca Morris has been a print journalist for two-plus decades, including nearly 12 years as an assistant metro editor and metro editor at daily newspapers in Illinois and Indiana. Theresa Armstrong began her career at the Grayson County News-Gazette in September 2006 as a reporter covering local news and feature stories. She is best known around the community for weekly columns about life on the farm. After growing up in the Florida Keys she found life to be very different on a farm and sharing those stories with the community was part of the job she enjoyed. She transferred to the advertising department in the fall of 2011 as an advertising consultant. Prior to coming to the paper she sold real estate for a local agency. She has been a resident of Grayson County since the summer of 2004, coming from South Carolina. Armstrong graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing in May of 2001. She enjoys all aspects of the newspaper and the role it plays in the local community.
