A talented Louisville bluegrass band is coming to Leitchfield to perform on Saturday, March 15 at the Grayson County Bluegrass Opry.

Fresh Cut Grass is a five-piece traditional bluegrass band featuring Marty Bennett on banjo, Doug Taylor on bass, Gary Kelly on guitar, Mick Savkovich on fiddle, and Rob Mitchum on mandolin. Fresh Cut Grass also performs a lot of gospel songs, too.

The Bluegrass Opry show starts at 6:00 p.m. central time at the Old Judicial Building (third floor) at 125 East White Oak Street in Leitchfield behind the Shell Station. Admission is free.

Also appearing on stage that night will be the Grandview Junction Bluegrass Band of Indiana, the Rough River Bluegrass Band of Leitchfield, and the host band, Hickory Grove, of Leitchfield.
