The American Pickers will be heading to Kentucky in March and may visit Grayson County with your help.

Mike Wolfe and Frank Fritz, stars of the popular History Channel reality show, American Pickers, are planning to visit Kentucky in March and are looking for leads on interesting characters with large collections of exciting items available for the pickers’ purchase to film for their show.

According to an e-mail from Cineflix, Inc., the company that produces American Pickers, Wolfe and Fritz will be looking for movie and music memorabilia, sports memorabilia, western items, and “basically any other oddball, one-of-a-kind, or interesting historical item you can think of.”

Two of the leading antique collectors, or “pickers,” in the nation, Wolfe and Fritz are followed by History Channel cameras as they tour the United States in search of “America’s most fascinating and valuable antiques - treasures that have been long forgotten in junkyards and barns across the country,” according to Cineflex, Inc.

The pickers do not visit shops, antique malls, or flea markets and are not currently looking for any fine furniture, agricultural or farming items and equipment, depression glass, or pottery, according to Cineflex, Inc.

Anyone with a lead that fits the aforementioned specifications, is encouraged to contact the American Pickers by e-mail at AmericanPickers@Cineflex.com or by phone at 646-493-2184.
