Louisville author Kimberly Greenwell hosted a book signing at Madison Square Boutique in Leitchfield on Thursday, November 14.
The signing was for Greenwell’s first book, The Bad Date Book - The Stories of a Frog, which was written from December, 2012 to January, 2013 and published in the spring of this year, Greenwell said.
Since its publication, The Bad Date Book has sold nearly 200 copies and is an anthology of “bad date stories” told entirely from the female point of view.
In contrast, Greenwell’s upcoming second book, Ribbit - The Stories of the Frog and the Frogette, will also feature stories from the male point of view and be released in February of 2014, she said.
Originally from Bardstown, Greenwell previously worked at WAVE 3 News for seven years before leaving to start her own businesses, Single Mingle, an event-coordinating service for single people to meet and “mingle,” and KAG, which provides public relations and sales training.
Individuals who were unable to attend the book signing but would like to purchase a copy of The Bad Date Book may do so by visiting Madison Square Boutique or by ordering a copy online at either www.barnesandnoble.com or www.amazon.com for $14.95.
Madison Square Boutique is owned by Anne Gonzales and is located at 202 West White Oak Street in Leitchfield.
