Lisa Armstrong, Senior Forester for the Division of Forestry, visited the elementary schools on Friday, April 1 to help distribute Northern Red Oak tree seedlings to the fourth graders in the county.

A short program was presented to each school to show the students the importance of planting trees and that how some of the products we use every day are made from trees.

The seedlings were purchased by the Grayson County Conservation District through the Kentucky Division of Forestry.
