At its Annual Membership Meeting on July 12, Warren RECC’s Member Services Department was recognized by TVA as a Top Performer in the 2015 EnergyRight® Solutions Highlight Report. Warren RECC was first across the entire TVA service area in the EnergyRight Solutions for Industry category with over 8.7 million kilowatt hours saved from 20 participants.
Warren RECC was fifth across the Tennessee Valley for total energy efficiency savings with over 11 million kilowatt hours saved. This accounted for 3.68 percent of all savings in the EnergyRight Solutions program.
Warren RECC President and CEO W. Scott Ramsey said, “I want to recognize the efforts of all the employees in our Member and Customer Services Department over the last year.”
Approximately a year ago, the departments were combined when President Ramsey hired Melissa Watson as the new Vice President of Member and Customer Services. Ramsey further indicated that Watson’s experience in the industry, combined with the hard work of Member Services personnel, made this happen.
Member Services has seven dedicated employees who focus on efforts such as improving energy efficiency of industrial, commercial, and residential members. Customer Services consists of 22 personnel at four different locations in south central Kentucky.
Warren RECC is working on a new member loan and rebate program to take member services to the next level as requested by its members. Over the next six months, new programs will be announced, which will be very interesting and will stimulate further economic growth in the region.
