Basham named First Kentucky Bank VP

First Kentucky Bank President/CEO David Long announced Wesley K. Basham as a new Vice President and Commercial Lender.

With more than nine years of experience, Basham is excited to serve those at the Ohio County office in Beaver Dam, KY.

“I admire his commitment to family and his extensive involvement in the community,” Long said. “I know, going forward, he will be a great asset to our team and help us better serve businesses across Ohio County.”

Most recently he served as a vice president and senior loan officer at Leitchfield Deposit Bank. Basham holds a bachelor of science degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College.

“I’m thrilled to have Wes on our team,” said Dean Rowe, First Kentucky Pennyrile Region Market Executive. “Wes is a banker that takes service to his clients very personally. He cares about people and that makes him a perfect fit for First Kentucky. In addition, his commercial and ag lending expertise in and around Ohio County will serve our community well.”

Basham and his wife, Ashlee, are members of the Leitchfield Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he serves as an elder. He is currently president of the Grayson County Hospital District Board and an assistant baseball coach at Grayson County High School.

He is also a former president of the Grayson County Chamber of Commerce and has served as the president of Grayson County Rotary Club.
