U.S. Congressman Brett Guthrie’s re-election campaign filed its second quarter report with the Federal Election Commission showing $1.61 million cash-on-hand. This filing sets a record for most cash on hand ever reported by the committee.

Guthrie for Congress has raised $302,083 in the second quarter of 2015, and $546,752 in the 2016 cycle. Guthrie continues his commitment to electing other conservatives, as over half the campaign’s 2015 disbursements to-date have been to the NRCC and other candidates.

“I am grateful for our campaign’s supporters, and for the trust the voters of the second district have placed in me to represent their interests in Washington D.C.,” Guthrie said. “The House Republican majority is fighting to improve our economic climate, to reduce unnecessary government regulations that hinder small business, and for solutions to the pressing problems facing our country.”
