The Grayson County Fiscal Court, during a special meeting on Wednesday morning, Sept. 28, approved two late bills, totaling over $12,000.

Grayson County Judge Executive Gary Logsdon called the meeting to order to discuss the bills.

The first bill, from Pooky’s Striping, was a remaining balance of $200.00 on a project at the Anneta firehouse.

Logsdon said the Fiscal Court had previously paid an initial sum of $500.00 for this work but still owed $200.00 to Pooky’s Striping for the project.

After a brief discussion, the Fiscal Court voted to approve paying the additional $200.00 balance.

Then, the second, $12,572.50 bill was for surplus property: two oil distributors, a 1987 Ford and a 1981 International.

The Fiscal Court then voted to approve paying this bill, as well.
