The Leitchfield Utilities Commission on Thursday approved the cost of repairs to the city’s water towers.
During the regularly scheduled Thursday, Aug. 4 Utilities Commission meeting, Leitchfield Utilities Chairman Robert Crawford presented an invoice from Pharis Electric for repairs to the water towers’ lighting.
Crawford said the water towers are required to have continuous lighting; however, there was some issue preventing the towers’ lights from running continuously.
The invoice for the repairs was $425.19, which the Utilities Commission then approved.
