Prospective Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) students are invited to participate in a local “College Signing Day,” to be held in Leitchfield on Tuesday, July 14.
“College Signing Day is a special day of recognition for students, symbolic of their commitment to pursue educational and career goals,” said ECTC Admissions Advisor Samantha Manire. “We look forward to celebrating with those who are coming to ECTC in the fall, as well as meeting with others who are interested in learning more about ECTC.”
The College Signing Day event will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. at the ECTC Leitchfield Campus (also known as the Walter T. Kelley Building), located at 101 East Carroll Gibson Blvd.
Students who have complete admissions packets, including applications, placement test scores, and transcripts, will have the opportunity to register for classes and secure the best schedules possible to fit their needs.
Admissions experts, financial aid counselors, and academic advisors will also be on hand to answer questions and help others complete the enrollment process.
Additionally, each participating student will receive a certificate of commitment and the opportunity for a photo with ECTC President and CEO Dr. Thelma White.
Anyone interested in learning more about the educational and career opportunities available at ECTC, even if he or she has not applied, is welcome to attend.
Refreshments will be served, and parents and spouses are invited to participate.
For those unable to attend the Leitchfield College Signing Day, additional events will be held at the Elizabethtown Campus on Wednesday, July 15 and the Springfield Campus on Thursday, July 16. Both the Elizabethtown and Springfield Signing Days will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
