A Leitchfield woman was transported to the hospital following a rollover crash near Tilford Drive in Falls of Rough on Wednesday afternoon, June 1.

Shortly after 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office (GCSO), Falls of Rough Volunteer Fire Department, and Grayson County Emergency Medical Services (GCEMS) responded to the scene of the crash beside Tilford Drive.

According to investigating GCSO Lieutenant Tony Willen, a 1997 GMC Jimmy, driven by Ashley Ezzo, 20, of Leitchfield, was travelling westbound on Kentucky Highway 54 when it rounded a curve, and Ezzo lost control of the vehicle.

The GMC then left the roadway, hit a ditch, and overturned, before coming to a rest right-side-up in the grass beside Tilford Drive, Willen said.

Ezzo was trapped in the vehicle following the crash and was extricated by fire department personnel. She was then transported from the scene by GCEMS to Twin Lakes Regional Medical Center to receive treatment for accident-related injuries.

The GMC was disabled as a result of the crash and was towed from the scene by Tanner’s Automotive.
