Lawler represented at Spelling Bowl

Two Lawler students represented the school in the 52nd Annual North Central Kentucky Spelling Bowl held at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.

There were three divisions: primary, intermediate, and middle school.

5th grader Dawson Gorby participated in the intermediate division, and 2nd grader Landon Lowery represented the primary division, placing 2nd overall.

This is the second year in a row Lowery has placed in this event. He was awarded a medallion, trophy, and certificate. Landon Lowery’s parents are Bart and Alethea Lowery. Landon Lowery’s classroom teacher is Mrs. Diane Manning.
