The students of Lawler Elementary School invite you to walk, jog, or run your way toward a healthier lifestyle while raising funds for their school.
Lawler Elementary School will host its first 5k Color Run fundraiser for everyone in the community to join on Saturday, April 23 at 9 a.m.
To ensure participants get a t-shirt, runner’s bib, and color packet, they will need to register early. Registration instructions are below.
The My School Color Run program aims to go beyond traditional fundraising. Rather than sell goods, this program aims to engage the entire community in a fitness initiative that is aimed to instill a life-long healthy way of living.
“We’re extremely excited about the launch of the My School Color Run Program at our school,” said Lawler PTO President Travis Stewart. “We’re looking forward to involving our community, students, and faculty in a fun and healthy program. We want everyone interested in doing a Color Run to come and join us!”
The color celebration run will be open to the public. Interested participants can register for the run by visiting www.LawlerMSCR.eventbrite.com or by completing a paper registration form prior to the event.
For more information or a copy of the paper registration form, contact Travis Stewart, Dawnann Hack, or Tiffany Nunn at the numbers below. You can also visit their Facebook page at: https://m.facebook.com/lawlerelempto/.
There will be a DJ and food available. The event will be held at 174 High School Rd. in Leitchfield.
