Help prevent child abuse

Grayson County Residents are encouraged to wear blue this Friday, April 8 in support of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

On Friday morning, April 1, Grayson Judge Executive Gary Logsdon, along with District Court Judge Shan Embry, FRC Directors Faye Critchelow, Kim Cannon, and Barbara Allen, and Social Services Clinician Doug Hazelwood, placed blue pinwheels outside the Grayson County Judicial Center to help raise awareness of Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Child Abuse Prevention Month has been observed each April since the first presidential proclamation in 1983. Since that time, millions of Americans have participated in public awareness campaigns.
