The Grayson County Bluegrass Opry proudly announces the return of Becky and the Butler County Boys to its upcoming regular monthly show in February. This family bluegrass band will be appearing at the local Bluegrass Opry on Saturday, Feb. 20, at 6:00 p.m. at the Old Judicial Building (third floor) at 125 East White Oak St. in Leitchfield behind the Shell Station. Admission to the show is free.

Becky and the Butler County Boys is a popular four-member band of bluegrass musicians from nearby Butler County. The band consists of husband and wife Jarrod and Becky Jacobs and their two teenage sons, Aaron and Luke. Jarrod Jacobs sings and plays the guitar while Becky Jacobs plays the bass. Both boys also join in on the vocals. In addition, Aaron Jacobs plays the mandolin while Luke Jacobs performs on the fiddle. The group has been performing at numerous events in the Western Kentucky area over the last three years and performs a variety of traditional bluegrass and country songs.

The Bluegrass Opry’s host band, Hickory Grove, of Leitchfield, will also be performing on the February show along with several other bands to be announced soon.
